Balanced ventilation and energy-recovery systems designed for fresh, healthy interiors — residential and commercial.
Filters, fans and airflow balancing kept to spec with scheduled servicing and transparent reporting.
Airflow assessments and targeted upgrades that fix stale rooms, humidity and stuffy interiors for good.
An energy recovery ventilator brings in fresh outdoor air and pushes out stale indoor air, transferring heat and moisture between the two streams so you lose little of what you paid to heat or cool. It also filters the incoming air.
Newer, tightly sealed homes, ADUs and additions benefit most, because they don't leak enough air to stay fresh on their own. California's energy code generally requires mechanical ventilation in new homes. If rooms feel stuffy or hold cooking smells, it's worth an assessment.
Both exchange air and recover energy. An HRV transfers heat only, while an ERV also transfers moisture, which helps keep indoor humidity steadier. That often makes an ERV the better fit in Southern California.
Not much. Filters need cleaning or replacing a few times a year, more often during wildfire season, and the core and fans should be checked at your annual service.
